به گزارش خبرنگار ایرنا ، دكتر ' احمد شجاعی ' روز چهارشنبه در حاشیه همایش مدیران پزشكی قانونی كشور در ساری در گفت و گو با خبرنگاران ، آمار مرگ ناشی از مصرف قرص برنج در كشور در سال 89 را هم 406 نفر ذكر كرد.

وی گفت : در سال 87 و 88 نیز به ترتیب 214 و 228 نفر در كشور بر اثر مصرف قرص برنج جان باختند.

رییس سازمان پزشكی قانونی كشور بیشترین میزان مرگ و میر ناشی از مصرف قرص برنج را مربوط به تهران دانست و گفت : تنها پارسال 205 مورد مرگ ناشی از مصرف این قرص در تهران ثبت شد.

وی افزود : استان گیلان نیز با 99 نفر و مازندران با 41 مورد به ترتیب بعد از تهران بیشترین قربانیان مصرف قرص برنج را پارسال به خود اختصاص دادند.

دكتر شجاعی در عین حال گفت كه با هماهنگی وزارت بهداشت و سازمان جهاد كشاورزی مقرر شد توزیع قرص برنج از این پس فقط در انحصار دولت قرار گیرد.
